The National Certificate in Real Estate (Branch Manager) is comprised of 27 unit standards, however 8 are achieved through National Certificate in Real Estate (Salesperson).

Study for core unit standards is focussed around 6 key areas:

  1. Conveyancing and Law
  2. Marketing
  3. Appraisal
  4. People Management
  5. Finance
  6. Real Estate Contracts

Prerequisites

Before commencing Nation Certificate in Real Estate (Branch Manager), participants must successfully complete Nation Certificate in Real Estate (Salesperson).

National Certificate in Real Estate is achieved by completing a number of unit standard topics. Each unit standard comprises of a variety of activities assessed by a REINZ ITO assessor. Some of the activities include:

  • Reading a Study Guide containing all the information needed including background information, case studies, and real estate examples
  • Writing answers to questions
  • Providing a portfolio of your work, for example a sale and purchase agreement, or marketing plan
  • Demonstrating your people skills with a buyer or seller on video or in person
