Billing rate: $5 USD per billing cycle
Billing cycle: monthly
CONVENANT
If you decide to buy land on Harcourts Properties Island you need to abide by the following guidelines; basically some common sense rules that should make sure that the general appearance of this island is preserved. Please remember, you came here, because you liked the land and the views.
1. No Ban Lines
2. Build your house such that it could fit into a residential area in real life (take note of object sizes whilst constructing if it helps
Don't build directly on the border of your property. Keep a distance that is in proportion with the height of your build.
Flying houses and other large structures in the sky.
If you absolutely NEED to build near the border of your parcel then ask the neighbor.
3. Please plant vegatation to help enhance the look of the entire island
4. Do preserve the general style of the landscape when terraforming. Not doing this will cause the roadways to look odd!
5. Respect others privacy and do not push others about
6. Don't raise your own fences (prims, bans or aggressive scripts) too high!
7. Use the resources of your sim in a fair way (watch the lag you might be causing)!
8. No weapons
This Covenant is applicable to all land parcels on Harcourts Properties Island (sim).
This covenant constitutes a contract between you and Harcourts Properties. You agree to it by becoming a resident on a private sim owned by Harcourts Properties.
Breaking these rules or the TOS of Second Life constitutes a breach of contract. This might lead to the termination of the contract.
Termination of contract because of a violation of the Covenant becomes effective immediately. There are no refunds in this case.
Payment:
In addition to the one-off parcel fee to own your land on Harcourts Property Island (paid for in Linden Dollars), you're required to pay a monthly tier fee of $5 USD per month via Paypal.
Paid tier fees are non-refundable.
This fee is paid directly to us, not to Linden Labs, Island land ownership does not increase or effect tier fees owed to Linden Labs for mainland land ownership.
All land will be repossessed by the island management team and objects found on the land will be returned to described owner if Tier fee's are found to be unpaid by more than 24 hours of the Tier Fee Due date. There will be no financial compensation.
NOTE: Paying a subscription fee does not release the owner from being required to purchase the land in Second Life. Owners of multiple plots of land on Harcourts Properties Island must sign up for tier payments separately for each plot which they hold.
